Hello!
I'm Marsha. Nice to meet you!
After working in the theatre costume shop in college and receiving a degree in Fashion Design, I was very comfortable at the machine. But it wasn't until I volunteered as a sewing instructor at a women's shelter while living in NYC that I fell in love with sharing my knowledge of sewing. Since moving to Denver, I have taught hundreds of people to sew by machine and by hand. Let me help you start or continue your sewing journey!

What can I say about Marsha?!?! Before I met her I didn't know how to plug in and turn on a sewing machine. I've taken many classes with her learning everything from bags, napkins and stuffed animals. I love the community she's created with the classes she offers. It's truly a way for this busy mom to get some me time and get creative and have fun.
Marsha is simply the best in town!!

Marsha is patient, kind, and creative. She is always finding new ways to challenge us and learn new sewing skills. She is interactive and funny during classes. She knows all the tips and tricks to ensure our projects turns out perfectly. I’m so glad to have found Marsha and I look forward to working with her more!

My 8-year-old son has been dying to sew, so we bought him a basic machine and three private lessons with Marsha for his recent birthday. She helped him learn how to use his new machine, the basics of sewing, and even helped him make an adorable canvas bag. Marsha was fantastic- kind, thoughtful, patient, creative, caring, and so much more! I am now interested in taking lessons myself! I highly recommend private lessons (her package of three or any of her classes. You won’t be disappointed!
